11月11日下午，校（院）党委副书记刘思金带领相关职能部门负责同志到国际教育学院调研。国际教育学院党总支书记李安庆主持调研座谈会。

On the afternoon of November 11, Sijin Liu, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the University, came for research with the leaders of relevant functional departments to School of International Education. Anqing Li, Secretary of the general Party branch of School of International Education, presided over the research forum.

国际教育学院院长孙保亮汇报学院发展整体状况，学院管理人员和骨干教师分别汇报各自工作。与会人员围绕学院整体发展和亟需解决的问题进行了深入交流，对国际教育学院党建引领、意识形态、学生管理、人才引进、对外交流、综合服务、科研支持等方面提出意见建议。

Baoliang Sun, dean of School of International Education, reported the overall development. The management staff and key teachers reported their work respectively. Participants had in-depth communication about the overall development and the problems that need to be solved of school of International Education, and put forward opinions and suggestions about the guidance of party construction, ideology, student management, talent introduction, international exchange and cooperation, comprehensive services, scientific research support and other aspects of the School of International Education.

刘思金详细听取了有关情况，与大家亲切交流，对国际教育学院发展取得的成绩给予充分肯定。他强调，各相关职能部门要做好服务，为学院发展提供强有力支持。他要求国际教育学院认真谋划好发展方向，做好顶层设计；加强学院自身建设，理顺管理体制和运行机制，与校（院）各部门做好对接工作；加大招生力度，多渠道拓展生源国，努力招收留学生博士生，开拓涉外培训项目；灵活聘用留学生优秀师资；加强对留学生的管理服务和思想教育、心理健康教育；认真做好来华留学教育质量认证工作。

Sijin Liu listened to the relevant report and information in detail, had cordial communication with everyone, and fully affirmed the achievements made by School of International Education. He stressed that all relevant functional departments should provide good services and strong supports for the development to School of International Education. He said, School of International Education should plan its own development direction and do a good job in top-level design; strengthen self-construction, straighten out the management system and operation mechanism, and coordinate with various departments of the university; increase enrollment, expand source countries through multiple channels, strive to recruit overseas students and doctoral students, and develop foreign-related training programs; flexible recruitment of excellent international teachers; strengthen management services ,ideological education, and mental health education for international students; conscientiously do a good job in the quality certification of international education.

座谈会前，刘思金与学生工作部华波部长、国际教育学院孙保亮院长一起为山东第一医科大学（山东省医学科学院）国际学生心理教育中心揭牌。

Before the symposium, Sijin Liu, with Bo Hua, director of student Affairs Department and Baoliang Sun, dean of School of International Education, inaugurated the Psychological Education Center of International Students of Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences).
